Globalix - Language week

The final day of the language week - and therefor also the final day of the Globalix game - is upon us. During the last three days the entire school has been turned into 16 headquarters in two different worlds. The gallery and 'Spejder' has worked as the UN headquarters of the two worlds.
We have been playing five rounds of five years, starting with the year 2000 friday morning. Each round is three hours long. Wars have been started, regions have gone into revolt and other regions has rised from the ashes.

As a citizen of the North America (in the world that didn't belong to Conny), I've been making deals and supporting the poor countries all weekend. It's not until this weekend I've realised how hard it is to manage an entire (powerfull) continent when you also has to help all the poor continents.
Well that is except for today. Today I've made sure that we would get some pictures of all the great costumes and all the beautiful headquarters, so Henrik and the teachers will be able to show others how amazing the students at The Spejderskole is. Or actually it was Conny who 'hired' me to do it... But it's kind of the same thing anyway.

By now you are properbly wondering why this blogpost is in english in stead of danish. And I've actually got the answer for you right here. Since it's called language week, we have all (of cause) had to speak english (or french or german) the entire weekend. From midday thursday till today at 4pm, we will be speaking english. My mom will agree on this, since I've only been comunicating with her in english... Well that is aside from when she wrote me back in german. So just a short massage for my mom: please call grandmother and ask her if she can understand this, otherwise you may translate it for her.

To just completely change the subject in the end of this blogpost. Last night was the 50th anniversary of the british television series Doctor Who. If you don't know what Doctor Who is, you've clearly been doing something wrong. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, the eight Whovians (Doctor Who fans) gathered in the Pejsestue to watch the anniversary episode live on BBC One. As true Whovians we ate fish fingers and custard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo2RKAHu-kI) before watching the legendary episode.
